SHAWSHANK

Our prisons serve no lasting good.
They don't teach wrong from right.
Their harsh, uncaring treatment could
Form inmates filled with fright.

As bad they enter, worse they leave,
An utter waste of time.
The faulty guidance they receive
Might turn them back to crime.

Why not, when people reach the brink
Of what they can endure,
Just teach them what their God would think?
His thoughts so straight and sure.
