To help, to hate, impede,
We freely choose to do.
Our private thoughts that guide each deed
Are freely chosen too.
So when I think about my right
To freedom's guarantee,
I need, each time, to seek the light
That God could shed on me.
There is a price that freedom needs
For each of us to pay:
We must account for all our deeds,
So do them right each day.
