4.0 out of 5 stars - Very Thought Provoking
December 8, 2019

Questioning Evolution was a very thought provoking book. It was broken down into many short sections of about a page or two per topic. It makes each section easy to read and ponder for a while before moving on to the next one. I felt like the author was almost having a conversation with himself or a close friend, questioning all different topics in life concerning evolution and the Bible.

The author believes in God and all his musings steer you towards the answer that everything is created by God and you should follow God's teachings. It was a bit too heavily religious for my taste and I was hoping for a bit more scientific evidence about evolution. It did, however, make me question my beliefs, and that was exactly what the author is going for. With each topic, I tried to take a few minutes to sit and think about it and see if I agreed with the author or not.

This would be an excellent book for a study group to take a topic or two and discuss weekly. This book was chock full of things to make you stop and think and I don't think it's something that can be digested all at once. It's a great book to pick up and read one topic for five or ten minutes and put the book down awhile and think about it or discuss with someone.

I definitely recommend this book to anyone who questions evolution. It does lean against it, so be aware of that before reading. While I don't agree with everything the author says, I love to open my mind to new opinions and try to be convinced of another way to see things. This is a great book to get you pondering many deep topics.
